Who is this for?

This course is aimed at all employees who have cause to undertake digging where services may be underground.

Content

You will learn about how to use detection equipment to safely locate before you excavate and so avoid dangerous and costly service strikes. Competence training in the use of cable locators is widely recognised as one the key steps to reducing cable strikes, indeed HSG47 (Health & Safety Recommendations) recognise this and recommend not only the use of cable locators but also training for operatives.
